Hi all, recently purchased 2017 Deserthawk.
Got a great deal and I am loving it so far!
Used to drive a stage 3 MK7 GTI, so had to change my driving habits a little, but so far, I love this thing!
Just installed Supreme Suspensions 1in. Spacers today. Did the angry eyes with 3M wrap, and also wraped side markers.
Shoutout to Jeff and Mike at 'Adrenaline Off Road' in Burtonsville, MD did awesome job installing spacers even though it was their first(!) Renegade in the shop. Pretty sure they will have many more Renegades to come along their way.

Wow talk about night and day Gti to Renegade! Looks like the only thing they had in common was the color lol. My last ride before my Renegade was a Golf MK6 so we’re in similar boat, about those spacers looking good, what was the charge to install?

I don't know if I can disclose any pricing on here, but they charged me 45min. of labor.
Shops will probably charge you anywhere between $50~$100 depending on where you go.
I would have done it myself, but my job is preventing me from having ANY kinds of free time at this time of the year, so I found a reputable shop to do it for me
Yeah, it is night and day coming from 400hp pocket rocket to a toaster lol. In my GTI, the turbo overboosted and blew which ended up leaving bunch of metal shards in the block.
Since it was heavily modified and out of warranty, I had to purchase a brand new donor engine from a smoke-damaged GTI and fix it.
Could have sold it to a private party and got more money out of it because of all the parts and upgrades I have done to the car, but I traded it in to the dealer where I purchased the Renegade. All in all, I am happy with my Renegade.
