Does anyone knows how to remove the side mirrors?

Can’t find any videos on YouTube.

    Kind regards,

What are you looking to remove, the entire mirror assembly pod, or just the glass?

    Hello Zuke,

I want to remove the entire assembly from the door to replace it.

    Kind regards,

    OK, Then you need to first remove the interior door panel, Here's a good video on that, and what I used the first time I did it;

Then if you look inside the door, there are 3 bolts that go into the Mirror assembly from inside the door, and 1 or two wiring connectors (depending on the options on the Renegade.

Unplug any wiring, and make sure it's loose from the door (there may be some christmas tree type retainers on the wiring)

At this point you may need a helper, or find a way to secure the mirror up from outside, since the window on the Renegade will be rolled up, you won't be able to remove the three bolts while holding on to the mirror pod, which could fall out after you remove the bolts (it probably won't, but it could!).

Reverse this to put the new one in.

    Dear Zuke,

    Thank you very much!

Are the bolts and wires marked in the picture the ones that I have to remove?

Yes, those covers are where you'll find the bolts, and I believe those are the correct wires to the best of my memory, but it will be more obvious when you unplug that white plug over the lower left bolt hole, as the wires run into the base of the mirror..

    Dear Zuke,

Thank you very much for your time and help!

One final question, by any chance you know if I have to unplug the battery prior to unplugging the old mirror and plugging the new one?

    Kind regards,

No, it isn't neccessary to disconnect the battery...
