Hey all. I just ordered my Daystar Rock Sliders. Can't wait to get them on! I also acquired a 48" Hi-Lift jack. I am wondering how would be a good way to mount it? I just put on Thule Aero Bars and I'm waiting on my large Rhino Rack Xtray to show up. Any thoughts? Also will the Daystar hinder my ability to put larger wheels/tires on later? I know the pinch seam needs to be cut in some cases to do so and it appears the Daystar goes over the pinch seam.

I also put on the window rain deflectors and LED headlights. Installed Curt hitch and trailer wiring. Waiting on smoked side markers. I'll post show and tell pics as soon as I get all those things on! I'm trying to make this more off road-looking and capable. Might put a spare up on the basket, but I know that shifts the center of gravity. Any other suggestions what might do it?

Here are a few pictures to give you some ideas. I made the mounting for the suicide jack from some spare aluminum and sandwiched it together with hardware. Its super easy to do and much cheaper than some of the alternatives. It's held together beautifully down many trails without any rattling or coming loose.

Would you consider making a set for me if I pay you? I'm not all that handy with metal!

I'd look into your local hardware store. Thin Aluminum bars are one of the softest metals and you can easily cut through it with a hand saw. Just measure out the dimensions of your spacings, cut, and drill. Add a spray can of some rubberized paint and it's good to go!

It appears you used some sort of rubber pad for a spacer at the edges. What was that?

I believe I used weather trim seal to fill the gap. Makes it looks more clean. There is an adhesive side so it sticks to the plates.

Is your rhino rack basket the small or large version? Can you post a side view pic of your renegade?

I got the large. I might move it back a bit though.

I also have the large. I think it fits perfectly. I'll post some side pics in a bit.

I was deciding between the small and large. Looks like the large looks good on the renegade

Here's another view next to a light background to see the actual size. Again, I'll probably slide it back a bit. But I do like that the X panel is directly above the B Pillar.

I was deciding the same thing until I saw @wayoflife with his small xtray. Even he suggested to me to get the large.
