I have found out that it is not known to everyone on how to remove the Driver and Passenger headrests.
Some people don't like the forward angle of the headrest, and would like to turn them around, or remove them.
On another forum, I saw some instructions on a very convoluted process to remove them, so I thought I would share the easy method here.

Start by raising the headrest to it highest position:

Now, while pushing in on the main button, use a small object (I used a key) to push in on the small square release button, then use your thumb to push up on the headrest.
Hidden release button shown here shown here:

Pull the headrest all the way out, and your done.

I used this opportunity to add some grab handles to my Trailhawk.
I made these using a Red and black King Cobra braid, with a white core.

    Here they are installed:

I like those custom grab handles. Any link for instructions on how to make that braid?

Sure, here is a video on how to make a Standard Cobra braid paracord bracelt.
However instead of making a square knot on the blue strand he uses for the core, I melt the ends together to make a loop. This gives me eyelets on both sides of the braid. (I actually make my core 2x longer, and double it up, so there are 2 eyelets on each end.

Now here is a video on miking a cobra braid into a king cobra braid.
Essentially you are applying another Cobra Braid, on top of the 1st cobra braid.

I made mine with a white core (because I had a lot of white, and not too much more red and black.) red cobra braid, and then a black king cobra on top of the red, so you see the red under the black

I'll have to see if my local "military surplus" has any alternate paracord colors, I like the black and red as it goes with the existing seat coloring. I use the term "military surplus" loosely, as at this point the only thing that is government surplus in the store is some cold-weather gear. At a store in the desert southwest.

I get all mine from Amazon.com. Lots of color selections.
