I can already tell this is going to get expensive

    Hey all!

Just picked up my renegade 4 days ago and I'm already just head over heels about this car. Manual trans, AWD, My Sky, 75th anniversary. Only one problem so far, I am already planning upgrades that will eventually run into the thousands...

First things first though, I've seen a couple other desert sand owners go with red grill inserts and door handles which I think looks really good, but seeing as it's the 75th anniversary edition, it already has some orange in the badging. I'm thinking orange grill inserts and door handles with black door handle cups and gas door. What say you? Other options I'm entertaining are all black, or red (would require rebadging the factory logos to replace the orange).

Yes, I know that these are just minor cosmetic things, but I don't have the budget amassed yet for more substantial upgrades like a lift and ladder

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone around!

    Welcome!

The 75th Anniversary is not going to make it more valuable if you change other things anyway (Plus, it will likely never be more valuable if you kept it stock either), So If you think the red would look better, I'd go ahead and swap out the badges...

I say, choose the color YOU want to accessorize with, and make it happen! (If you're going to ask my opinion though, I think the Red/Black would look sharper, and have better contrast with the sand...)

Welcome to the forum, a great place for information. Good luck with the 75th, most 75th models around here are the green, nice to see something different. Like zuke said, color choice is yours. Just post some pictures when you decide, we like pictures.
