I met the guys from SpiderwebShade at Jeep Beach in Daytona a couple of weeks ago and told them I wanted to bring my Renegade over to see if they could make something up for when I have the MySky panels out. I'm pretty happy with what they came up with, and wind noise was reduced quite a bit.

Unfortunately with the design of the Renegade the Spiderwebshade will have to be installed/removed every time, unlike their other products which usually stay in place with soft/hard top options on the Wranglers.

Here's the pics, if you're interested they made a template and will have them available. You'll have to call them, because it's not listed at their website as a real product as of yet.

How much did it end up costing for them to custom make it for you?

Not really sure why you can't see the pics, they're hosted on IMGUR.

@EdsJeep, does the spiderwebshade diffuse enough wind at speed to reduce or eliminate the headliner shaking that happens with both roof panels off? That might be enough to justify grabbing one for the wife :)

IT does cut down on the wind. I'd say about 50%. Quieter and not as much coming in through the roof panels.

Too bad they are now wanting $20 more than they made it originally. I emailed them also and was given $109 price. I asked also about any discounts when buying 2 or more.

There are other companies out there I will be looking at.

Haha, that's neat! Though.. doesn't it defeat the purpose of having the mysky panels out? :)

Cuts down on wind noise and direct sun light. There's also this term, 'It's a Jeep thing..'

I really like how the green looks on your Jeep!! :)

I remember the day I drove home from the lot. I had about 2 hours to go, it was GA in the middle of summer, crazy hot... but I was SO EXCITED that I drove home with the mysky panels off... and totally got a sunburn. :)

Now, I just get nicely tanned. I also never drive with the windows up if my panels are off, guessing this would make that possible?

How secure is the Shade? For example, could my dog (medium sized) push it off from the inside?
