Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to remove the lower fascia on the front bumper, to say mount a custom bumper

LOL!! That's EXACTLY what we're wanting to do. I know you can remove it, I just don't know how bad it will look without it... yet. I hope to work on this soon :)

Yay! I really have been wanting to remove the plastic part below the grill and maybe fabricate a custom bumper complete with a better approach angle

That would be awesome! At the very least, I was thinking we might be able to trim it so that we could nose the front tires up to obstacles a bit better.

Sorry, this is on my to do list but I've been a bit busy working on my other Jeeps. I intend to do this soon though.

Hey, don't worry. We are all real busy! Just curious. I'm too busy to take mine off myself, haha.

I plan on fabbing up an off road bumper in the very near future. Waiting on some custom mounting brackets to replace the tow hooks and build from there. Looking at possibly chopping up a JK bumper as a starting point.

Keep me updated especially with your mounting brackets. I'm looking to fab one up as well.

Will do. Waiting for the brackets to come in the mail. If I get them this week I plan on getting to work this weekend.

Hello, I just recently removed my front trailhawk grill, fascia, bumper, tow hooks and skid plate to install a winch and the new avid radius bumper. Yes the lower facia can be removed from the grille, they just clip together. Removing the tow hooks was a pain as the nut is huge! I used a 1-5/16th socket to remove it. Now that is NOT the correct size but its all I had and it worked for me, I also had a 32mm that seemed to fit but the 1 5-16th was a better fit.

So what did you do with the old trailhawk bumper parts?
