http://www.g-force.it/PRODOTTI2.ASP?CATEGORIA=NEW RENEGADE&ID=707 .... wheels are 7x16 et20 ... tires 225/75 16 BF MUD ...
Yeah, I see that and the link had been posted already but, were they mounted on a Trailhawk with its bigger front brake calipers?
Hi Offroad King, Can you please tell us what the offset is on those wheels? Were they mounted with the G-Force 20mm or 30mm spacers? What is the clearance from the outer edge of the brake caliper and wheel? zooming in on the photo it looks really close.
... offset = et +20 ... wheels are on line with the fenders without spacers... G-Force projected them just for Renegade....
... to be on line with fenders with the original wheels (et+40) you have to use 30mm with 6,5" and 20mm with 7"....
Thank you for the info, was there any additional lift kit added to that TrailHawk to get those tires to clear?
... no the yellow in photo it's stock... but I think next week they'll start with the selling of the lift kits....
Hi Offroad King, I looked at this 2.5cm lift kit: http://www.g-force.it/PRODOTTI2.ASP?CATEGORIA=NEW RENEGADE&ID=706 It does not show any details or instructions, can you please tell us how it works, are they spacers you have to remove your struts to install or something else? What changes or adjustments do you need to make to the alignment after they are installed?
Hi, just at home with a new SPORT 2.0 MJ 4x4 White/Black.... next week start with lift.... alu wheels... and others.... I'll put on FB all photos.... .....will be a " G-Force Edition " ... spacers on top of struts... easy to install... sure after installation need wheels alignement.... ... ask them... they also deliver in the United States...
Hi guys, I upgraded from the stock Continentals in 215/65-16 to Kenda Klever AT 's (KR28) in 215/70-16. They are .85" taller than the stock tire, so at highway speeds it's around 2.5mph off (speedo shows slower than you are going). The sidewall on these is much stiffer than the Conti's, but because there is actually more sidewall height, it rides about the same. They are slightly more noisy but no where near noticeable if you hadn't hear the Conti's before. Like a light truck tire. Tread is much deeper and more aggressive than the Conti's as well. It now looks less like a passenger car and more like an all terrain vehicle.
Hi Offroad King, Are the lift kits only for the trailhawk models or is it availible for the Latitude or North Edition 1.4 litre as well?
Hey Sharpshooter -- I have a Trailhawk with the Daystar lift, and with 1" spacers and a little trimming behind the wheel well (as Eddie wrote up in another post) I was able to get some Cooper Discoverers on (235 65R 17s) with no rubbin. Check out the pic.
The ones from RenegadeReady - guess the jury's still out on them (http://toasterjeep.com/index.php?th...rs-installation-write-up.400/page-2#post-4032) but no issues so far.
