Many people have noticed that you can press hard on the empty button on your non-keyless entry fob and it will open your rear hatch. Here is a brief write up on how to modify your key fob to make it easy to press the button (like the other buttons). *This doesn't work for keyless entry fobs* 1) Pop off the button 2) Cutt off the 4 square tabs (not the circular or rectangular ones) 3) remove the O-Ring (If it didn't fall out when you opened it like mine did) 4) Place the button back where it was Done!
I want my tail-gate to swing open up when I hit the switch. Do you know what the lift gate shocks are rated at as in pounds? I found ones at my local Autozone that could lift 85lbs. $24 each. can you tell me if this works.
