    Will a tranny from a TH work in a Lat or will some computer changes need to be made?

    They are the same transmissions.

    The Transmission Control Modules will have different programming.

    Really? So all I would need to do is reprogram mine and get the new control with the other options? Has anyone done this?

    Not even. Keep your original TCM, and just replace the transmission.

    ?? Wait, are you trying to get the Trailhawk programming for your Latitude transmission?

    My theory is...

    Get the Trailhawk range selector switch and install it.

    Get AlfaOBD (can be purchased from Google Play), OBDLink MX+ OBD2, and, depending on the year (2018 and newer) and a Bosting Cable (Chrysler Programming Cable 12+8 Connector).

    With this software, there may be the option to Enable the Trailhawk software for you Latitude. But I am not 100% for the Renegade (it mostly works for the Grand Cherokee, Ram, Charger, and the Challenger).

    Our newer vehicle's all share the same modules (vehicle type specific, Cherokee, Renegade, Challenger, etc.), they just have different options enabled depending on the model (Trailhawk, Latitude, Sport, etc.). These options can be enabled to share package options with the right software (AlfaOBD for example)...

    AlfaOBD - is like the software used by the dealers to troubleshoot and repair our Fiat/Chrysler vehicles.
    ... it also allows us to enable Easter Eggs hiding with in the Control Modules on our vehicles.
    OBDLink - OBD interface, allows the software on our phone or tablet to communicate with the vehicle.
    Bosting Cable - allows us to bypass the Security Gateway Module on the 2018 and newer Fiat/Chrysler vehicles.

    A few things that can be done using the AlfaOBD (a really good write up over on the RamForum:
    Tire size adjustments;
    Fob Programming;
    Adding Rain Sense Wipers;
    Factory Keyless Enter N Go;
    Heated/Vented Seats;
    Adding Front LED Turn/Park Lamps;
    Odometer Correction...

    No, I didn't know about AlfaOBD before selling my Renegade.
