License plate Led lights

Nope. The only error is "license plate lights out" on the dashboard and i just put in fresh 194 incandescent bulbs

 

Probably not helping but did you plug a scanner in and try clearing the code? Probably not even a code, but maybe it would help?

 

I'd rather the dealership load the software they were supposed to load on the last visit that fixes this false error from popping on the first place lol.

 

Well yeah, that would fix it but this is more of a bull shit way for them to make more money really. This whole thing would be easier without a bulb out sensor tbh

Like everyone else I got the error too, figured as much. But I did put led lights on the interior with no errors to speak of. I have them in all the lights, I didn't have the dome because of my sky.

Yeah, next warm weekend I get I am going to spend some quality time with my multimeter and the rear light wires to figure which ones get to have a load resister put on them.

 

The blinkers and the brake bulbs needed in mine..i think the backup are somehow connected into the circuit alltogether, so i basically put 2 loads on each side, it took me a looong time yi figure it out which wires needed to tap into ,no fun
Anyway the loads themselves are actually hanging in the air ,used ziptyts on wires + its all metal allaround it..

Cool. I have canbus led backups now and those dont trip the bulb out warning. At least it sounds like i will be occupied for a bit then.

Yeah, there are 5 wires thats the confusing part..so i had a bit of help from my wife (she s elect engineering) otherwise i ve lost my patience and almost gave up..

With the wire tracks and take one at the time on a piece of paper number them with color and thats how she figured it out

Anyone have any suggestions on which bulbs to get for the interior and license plate? I want to change them all to White LED. Maybe if someone can provide a link
