So...I took off the back panel, drilled out some holes and mounted some LED lights in the headlights and wired them to one of the rear cargo lights so they only switch on when the rear lift gate is opened.

It's the cargo light on the right that's lit up in the last picture. There's a little groove on the light and if you stick a flat head in there and pry it'll pop out. There's a small clip plugged in to power the light. There's where you'll find the power and ground I used.

Haha nah. As soon as I get time I'll make a write up. It only took about 20 minutes to complete.

Write up or not the one thing I'm not comfortable with is electrical... Hell I will/have done tons of wrenching but will turn over any wiring to other friends to do....

Well the way I did it was using "t-tap" connectors so there's no splicing or fancy tools involved to wire these little guys up. The connectors pinch the existing wires (just power and ground) and the other wires from the lights simply clip into the connectors. Super super easy.

I think I am going to wire a few of these LEDS in the rear reflectors fore reverse lights and wire a few for turn signals to.
