Hey guys, I'm new here and will be trading in my 2012 Charger SRT Super Bee next week for a 2016 Renegade Trailhawk. My dealer offers the Daystar lift kit and wheel spacers installed with warranty for a grand extra, but I'm a little worried due to a lot of issues I read that the Daystar kit has. Does anyone have the Italian made G-Force lft kit? I know its only about an inch high compared to the 1.5" Daystar lift. I notice that it is just 4 strut spacers, where as the Daystar has all the spacers for the driveline and exhaust too. Are those other spacers not needed in the G-force kit because the lift isnt as high? Any insight would be really appreciated. Thanks!

G-Force has a lift coming out with a 3.3 total lift. I haven't seen the details on it, not sure if they are counting the tires... Have to wait and see. If you go with the Daystar from the factory make sure you have the black brackets in the rear, they did a lot more when they welded it up, see if that fixed the problem.

I believe the total lift is including tires. On a Trailhawk, you can't go any higher than what Daystar offers as the a-arms bottom out on the skid and the strut will make contact with the half shaft.

I saw that they have a larger lift coming out, but I'm more interested in the smaller 1" lift they currently have on the market. Any info on that kit?

Yes, I think madness is the only place stateside that sells the 1" lift kit. Does anyone here have that kit? I'm most interested in if it will cause any issues with the driveline and exhaust, like the Daystar would if they didn't include the spacers for the driveline, exhaust, etc.

Where can I find that on the website? The only one I've seen is the 2.5cm lift kit and wheel centering kit that I was originally inquiring about.

So how do you think they pulled off a "2 inch lift kit" then, maybe for the other models and not the TrailHawk? Might make sense because they are lower already.

Do you see any other way to make a taller lift kit for the TrailHawks? Not grilling you with all the questions, this is just my first Jeep and i'm still shaky on how lifts affect the other components/geometry of the vehicle.

I checked with Madness autoworks at the beginning of April and they responded then that the kit was about 90 days out.

I also just heard back from Madness earlier today and they said that their lift kit is in production now, and about 90 days out from becoming available.

The daystar is just fine the only problems were due to bad manufacturing which were from not welding enough. So that has been addressed and personally will be buying the lift.

2 " would be great for non trailhawk renegades seeing that the springs on a trailhawk are just shy of an inch. I was hoping someone would just bring out new strut housings and springs as a lift as opposed to blocks

Ive had the daystar spacer lift on my old 2009 JK and absolutely loved it, but it was also just 4 spacers and done. Im just not too thrilled with how many spacers are involved on the renegade lift from Daystar and the fact that you have to cut some of the gas tank skid plate on the trailhawk. It would have been nice for them to come up with a design that didn't involve any permanent changes to the car.

I am curious if I take the time to build a kit that can have larger taller springs. I know that it would require longer stuts which might mean modified housing too. But wouldn't it be nice to have a lift that is a spring and more flex? Or am I wrong?
