Just figured with the Renegade being a fairly new design with a lot of electronics involved, I'd start a thread to discuss our vehicles and how they've been for us.

Ours is a 2015 Trailhawk. Bought it new off the lot and had it ten months, and are up to about 10,500 miles.

So far we've had three issues. The driver's side sun visor has broken (wouldn't stay up) and had to be replaced. The ignition cylinder in the column broke and wouldn't release the key and had to be serviced (can't remember if fixed or replaced). The computer displayed an ambiguous message that the vehicle required service in so many miles that had to be cleared along with several control module code updates. All were handled under warranty but no one has been able to tell me why the service message was displayed in the first place.

Not sure how to post a new reply on my own so I'm replying to yours until I can figure it out.
I bought a new 2017 Solar Yellow Altitude Renegade, it has a tad over 2000 miles and it's been stellar so far. We had over a foot of snow today in New York and she handled it with little effort.
Big fan of the Renegade even though it get very little respect.

Trailhawk bought March 2015, little over 33,000 miles, 4 issues. 1st issue power locks stopped working, 2nd issue check engine light came on and had no power, both of these issues were fixed with a software update. 3rd issue 4 wheel drive would sometimes not work, fixed by having new module put in. These 3 issues were covered under warranty. 4th issue was a alignment issue after I installed 1.5 Daystar lift kit, after a few different shops I now have that fixed.

I have a 2015 Latitude (build 4/15) purchased September 2015. Now have 18 months of ownership with just under 32,ooo miles. Problems have been minor in nature; lock problem fixed with software, radio and speakers replaced a few weeks ago (distorted audio) and the sway bar links were replaced at the same time, fixed a noise in the front end. We have been very pleased with the Renegade. The more I drive it in the snow the more I like it. We had 14" yesterday and the Renegade was not phased at all. Mileage has been very good and we have taken a couple of long trips with it and found it very comfortable the entire time.

    2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 13K

The only real issue I've had was the trim panel for the front drivers side seat belt kept popping off. They ordered new clips and reinstalled. Haven't had issues since.

2016 DOJ ,but I put some $ into making her my kinda special . She has 9k on her and have zero issues even after the after market upgrades, with the exception of the TPMS. Ever since I replaced the stock with bigger tires and a lift the tpms light is on..think I just need to have it reset. But so far she is great [emoji6]☘️ IMG_0744.JPG

I really like your set-up Trailhawk16. I dig your rims as well. I already bought spacers for my OEM steels and cross bars and a roof basket... just waiting for a warmer weather here in Chicago.

Same here with mine... 1,200 miles on my '16 Sport and I had a booster supply oil leak fixed, they replaced a failed rear brake caliper and rotor assembly, and they couldn't duplicate the clunking noise in my drive shaft. Glad it's all "mechanical issues" not the electronics bells and whistles that I hate to deal with. This is a fairly new release and so I unfortunately we are the guinea pig.

Have a 2016 Sport 4x4 1.4L Turbo Manual. Got in mid January. Have 6k miles now.

The only problem I have had is I want to keep tinkering with it and adding stuff and modding stuff. Unfortunately, funding is a major bottleneck.

I have had the CEL turn on a few times, but it was my fault (pinched vacuum lines), and I easily corrected it. Definitely invest in a OBDii Scanner if you don't have one. Ohh and any time the CEL comes on, 4x4 is disabled for "safety reasons" according to the dealer. They are right. I tested this by pulling an evap hose and causing a vacuum leak. CEL = No 4x4 modes.
Pull the boost sensor in the 1.4L turbo, you get all sorts of flashing lights and the Renegade goes into Limp Mode.

Diesel TH 2016 8000 on the clock turbo oil cooler pipe cracked light switch changed as the old one the main beam stalk came loose. Problems yet to be sorted ZF 9 speed tranny won't hold my breath for that, rear brakes squeal. The the dealer says is normal. Ok not true but can't be bothered to argue. Engine fumes into the cabin from the heater and wind noise from the drivers side door. The wind noise came back worse than it went into the dealer. No electrical issues as yet.

So an update on mine... Yesterday I was driving around and the pedal died or something; I couldn't accelerate at all and had to pop to neutral and back a few times before it would go again... I don't know what it was but I don't know that it's replicateable for diagnosis... It's a sensor system right? Essentially a pressure plate type thing?

2015 latitude fwd bought oct15. Only minor issues, firmware fixed. Started a few months ago getting a hesitation when starting off. Gonna clean throttle body this weekend. Rear tires are cupping, I think this is just a fwd thing. Last 3 fwd cars I've had does this. I do service work and my parts lower the back end by 1/2 inch. Maybe I need an alignment done with full load.

2016 Trailhawk, owned 1yr 1mo, 9800 miles. only glitch a couple weeks ago, got all lights out warning, that's no parking, no headlights, no braking, no turn signal lights, etc. as reported by the renny. Pulled into parking lot, all lights are still working. Took to dealership, the system spitted out pages of error codes, they gave us loaner so they could figure it out. Turned out it was the control module of all the electronics connected to the body. Replaced it and we were back up and running next day. Knock on wood it's purring again just like before.
P.s. This was under warranty, oh forgot hitch was corrected by recall issue but it don't affect any driving.

So a little under 12,000 miles, the Uconnect 5.0 head didn't display anything at a recent startup. No "accept" screen, no backup camera, nada. Radio still played the station it was tuned to and the volume and mute functions worked, but no display, no controls at the screen or on the steering wheel besides the volume/mute on the screen.

Tried shutting down the Jeep and turning it back on, didn't help that first time. We finished our errands and it had started working again later that trip.

    Kind of annoying.

Try to take it in for an update. I had the same thing happen a couple times. I took it in and it needed an update dated to December 2016. I think it worked, but like you, I'm not sure how to replicate the issue.
