I've searched everywhere with no luck. Does anyone have the price for OEM rock rails that come on the desert hawk? I intend to immediately install them on my trailhawk before I tear something up "jeeping" (as my kids call it).
Related: can anyone recommend rails that are easy and fast to install? How do the OEM ones compare? Please, any opinions are welcome.

Check Eddie's write-up on the Daystars, I've been trying to hunt down the oem rails myself to no avail. My parts guy says they're not in the system yet. I saw a Jeep video describing the Desert Hawk and the guy mentioned the rails would be available late summer 2017. Wait? Or use another product, the Daystar seems to really nail it. Good luck.

Sorry, the easiest way to get the desert hawk rock rails, is to buy a desert hawk. I asked Jeep and they said there aren't any ways to buy those ones specifically

I'd have just gone with a desert hawk if I liked any of the colors but I really wanted orange so I went trail hawk. However, I consider rails essential for how I will play around in the Jeep...I've certainly gotten my money's worth out of the ones on the rubicon. I was thinking it was odd that I couldn't find the OEM rails for the BU anywhere. I wonder if a body shop could order them. I'm thinking if a desert hawk got in a collision and the write up called for new rail(s) due to damage, they'd have to come from somewhere...if my parts section at the dealer says it's a no go to order them myself I'm gonna explore this route with a collision shop I know and trust.

I've seen those, and the others from rocky road. My only concerns are the warranty and the required body modifications. I wanted to compare the installation process and mounting points etc. between the stock rails and aftermarket. However, this is an unexpected wall and I'm very likely to go aftermarket unless it messes with the warranty.

I was wondering the same thing so I crawled under a Deserthawk at the local dealership. I didn't think to get any pics, but from what I could tell, it looks like you will have to drill the pinch seam to fit the OEM's just like the aftermarket sliders. With how Mopar seems to be pricing (read gouging) the OEM parts, I am leaning toward the Rocky Road sliders. I also like the step rail on the aftermarkets.

Give it a try... My dealer was bummed to lose the business when they couldn't find the part in the system.

Thanks, this is something I was definitely wondering. Now I just need to confirm that throwing the RROs on doesn't degrade the warranty and I'm likely to go that way...unless the OEM ones are miraculously gougeless.

Had my TH with RRO sliders at my dealer a few different times and they've said nada. And they've seen my skidplates and beauty marks. And missing hitch surround after my last trip out.

Of course I'm not asking them if they affect anything because they don't. If an aftermarket part has caused something to go wrong, there is no warranty. If my top flies off, they won't say my rock rails void my warranty.

Yeah, but I have to say I feel like the daystar ones are better than the RRO ones as they are wider underneath, and still have good quality construction with tapered ends. $900 isn't worth paying to get the OEM ones.

Maybe? I have no issue with my RRO rails. Hit them a few times and have never touched the pinch weld part of the slider. I personally got the slider not the bigger step ones as they sorta look somewhat stock. And they weren't that much $ compared to the step ones and daystars weren't even out by then. And daystars aren't cheap either
