Received my PC07 pedal commander today. After reading all the reviews I was convinced City +2 would be home for me. Took literally less than a minute to install. I haven’t mounted it yet because I’m not fully sold. Is there a difference, yes. Throttle is much smoother and close to instant. Was it what I was expecting? Not sure yet. I guess maybe based on all the reviews and videos I was expecting a little more, but at the end of the day it’s a 180hp Jeep, not a Hot Rod. Currently have it on Sport +2 and it’s just okay. I’m going to mess with some more settings and report back later. Cheers!

So after day 1... here’s my update. I like it, There is absolutely noticeable benefit throughout the driving range. My personal favorite part is the acceleration increase mid way through a gear (meaning if you upshift early instead of essentially bogging it just gets up and goes) passing is far improved, and I’ve seen real measurable gains as well. Now I’m one that 95% of the time I drive in “manual” mode. I prefer controlling my shifts, but didn’t want to wait on ordering a manual turbo model.
    • My setting - Sport +2
    • This will be my daily setting, overall acceleration is vastly improved, and it’s not to touchy or snappy for me I enjoy the enhanced throttle control even at slower speeds.
    • I’ve yet to venture into Sport Plus, but will report back when I do.
    • I’ll screen record some 0-60s so I can show you all the improvements there and will keep reporting back.

Thanks for the update, glad you are enjoying it. I use "manual" mode a lot also and enjoy it. Manual mode on a back road gives you a lot of control.

    Thanks for the update.

... I had to stop using mine. I got an accelerator network error code (I can't remember which it was). I believe the circuit board failed.
I loved it for the 2 years that it worked, but not enough to buy a new one.

Currently on Sport +4 and enjoying it. Did have a bit of a snafu today, as soon as I changed it to Sport Plus immediately got the plethora of Christmas tree lighting... Throttle Error, Electronic E-Brake Error, Traction Control Error... I set it back down to Sport +2 and aside from the CEL everything went back to normal function. I scanned it and as expected Throttle Control code, cleared the code good to go for now. Called Pedal Commander and got somebody on the phone in 2 rings, she was super helpful. They are sending me a re-map for Sport Plus mode. I’ll report back once I get it and check it out.

Hope everyone is doing ok out there. Been to busy to care about the pedal commander lately. Figured I’d break up the monotony of what’s going on with a little review. Got the remap for Sport Plus mode and it now works, but I don’t feel much difference if any between Sport and Sport Plus. Overall, I am enjoying the PC. Would definitely say it’s worth the $300, but don’t expect the vehicle to feel like it’s got Nitrous... lol! It’s still just a 180hp Toaster. Take care out there everyone!! Cheers!

P.S. Still haven’t mounted it. As I’m now having an issue there the app keeps shutting down and won’t connect. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times with the same issue. Plan was to tuck it away out of site, but if I can’t access it via the app then that’ll be impossible. I’ll keep you updated on that.
