phone mount suggestions?

I'm a new 2016 Renegade Trailhawk owner (7 days now.) Does anyone have a recommendation for a good dash mount brand for my iphone that does not require modification? Thanks.

 

I like this one...I have it attached to the left vent on the top of the dash. Works great if you are right handed.

I got an "iottie" one from Walmart that seems to be working great after a couple of weeks. I mounted it on top of the front air vent and have my phone hanging down slightly. The armature allows for a wide variety of mounting directions/angles.

 

Thanks. I had considered this but was not sure if the suction cup would work well on the curved dash.

 

I'd love to see pictures of people's installs. Please.

Here's a couple shots of the iottie. I've got it extended pretty far to keep it from blocking any view, but I think it'd be pretty easy to position up a bit to toy around with using my phone as a dash cam.

This is a Ram Mount X-mount from my previous car. It works on that side window, but it will interfere with airbags I think, so I plan to make a permanent mount from the dash placing the phone in roughly that same location. I have a Nexus 6P and my wife has an iPhone so we need a universal mount like the Ram.

Magnets interfere with my Android phone's compass and on some Android devices the magnet makes the phone think it had a flip case on it and put the screen in a clock mode. (Samsung)

Bryan. Totally got the iottie and loved it. Installed it exactly as you did. HOWEVER, first sunny April day over 70 degrees and the mount completely fell off, phone or no phone. Won't stay mounted on warm days at all. Did you have this issue? I am thinking of returning it and calling the company.

No issues so far, but up in the cold wilds of Idaho, I don't think we've had temperatures over ~60 degrees since I installed it!
