    Hi Guys!

New to the forums and need a little help. I have a 2016 Renegade Latitude 4x4 and I'm looking to add some wheels spacers to it. At the moment I'm looking at either the Bora 1" or 1.25" spacers. I plan on adding the ATP 2" lift kit and the biggest 17" tires I can that won't run into much rubbing issues later. Would it be better to go for the 1.25" or would the 1" be just fine? Thanks.

The 1" will be fine to get bigger tires on because it moves it away from the strut. The further you go out, the sooner you will have to worry about it rubbing on the wheel wells. The kicker - if you run 1" spacers you will be stuck with OEM wheels. The 1" isnt enough to clear the lugs, but OEM wheels have a regress in the wheel that fit over the lugs poking out. Run 1.25 if you want to put on different wheels (or the spare). Or you could try to find lower profile lugs that will be flush with the 1" spacers.

Thanks for the info. I do plan on adding some 18" black rhino rims (should of mentioned earlier) so the 1.25" sounds like my best bet.

Honestly man, if you're planning on rims don't get the spacers and save the money. Get the rims in a +20 offset and you'll be golden. Get blanks and drill them if our bolt pattern doesn't come in that offset.

With the supreme suspensions 1" spacers my factory lug bolts do not extend out of the spacer. I can mount my thrown together steel wheel spare tire set up on with no issues.

With the same spacers, my factory lugs DO extend past the spacer. Only OEM wheels will fit with them. I believe this is the more common situation with the renegades.

This is the first person I've heard say that their lugs do not extend past 1" spacers.

    Yep, supreme suspensions.

I think your factory lugs are smaller than the rest of ours - wanna trade? lol.

It appears that Jeep changed the lug bolts some time after 2015. Looks like they added some chrome/ chrome caps. That must have increased the size a bit. So I guess if you have or can get your hands on the older style lugs it will work as I stated.

Or I just have magical lugs?

the suspension should not be affected any with wheel spacers.suspension should not be affected any with wheel spacers.
the turning radius will not be as tight, but its not that big of a difference.
IMO an alignment is recommended after any suspension or wheel spacer mod, not saying that a problem will always occur with any upgrade, but it is better to do it before the tires wear oddly.suspension or wheelspacer mod, not saying that a problem will always occur with any upgrade, but it is better to do it before the tires wear oddly.
and i have the spidertrax and no problems so far, i do not think the brand matters, but the hardware might be different so look into that.

and unless you get really shi**y rims, spacer will be much cheaper. spacer will be much cheaper.
