How is that mounted onto your rails? Did they just drill a hole in your rails and bolt to it? It's hard to tell from this pic.

IMG_0625 (1).JPG IMG_0626.JPG Roof rack on my 1.4Turbo 4x4 Sport. Painted my side markers with tint black and front grille's flat black as well. Overall cost me some elbow grease and about $150 and few trips to the hardware. Today I added these spot lights from Amazon :)

Installed my Cargo Loc bargain rack after spraying it black with bedliner. Added the Rhino Rack fairing to reduce noise. MySky operates just fine with this set up and I'm kayak ready.

Yakima Megawarrior with extention. I'll take better pics tomorrow and post. Powered mysky works great but panels cannot be removed without moving basket.

Thanks! I use the Rustoleum bedliner spray. It is not as rough as some. I used it on my Rubicon custom bumper and it looked great even driving home three miles up a dirt road everyday.

Eureka, does your basket makes wind whistle sound?

I don't have a basket. Just the Rack and a fairing. The fairing reduces the wind noise but there is still a small amount of wind sound but no whistling. I placed it forward so that the MySky would be behind the fairing - I think I could eliminate most of it if I moved it back a bit.

The light bar really helps cut wind noise down but it's definitely quite noticeable above 55mph. it doesn't bother me, I drown it out with loud music

I wonder what would the non-renegade people say about your jeep? I had mostly positive comments... the only bad one was one from a wrangler driver in a parking lot, he said that's not a jeep, this is a jeep (pointing to his pimped-up shiny JKU). I smiled back and replied, wow your rig looks good... I got more mud than yours!!! He awkwardly walked away.

Damn that looks good! I love the width! I just put on the Loadwarrior last night and you're making me regret not bumping it up to the Mega! Maybe down the road I'll sell the basket and trade up.

Here's the Loadwarrior sitting on Reese crossbars. Just washed the mud off and even gave Hawkeye a coat of wax ;)

Probably kinda late but Yakima makes a rooftop tent that fits your Rene.
