I thought this was an interesting picture (found on the web) comparing the size of the Renegade to a Kia and a Grand Cherokee.

It is amazing what a couple more inches can accomplish. ;)

Lol. I keep telling myself that girth is more important...you know, for shoulder room.

eh, I have seen both and can tell you that the Renegade is bigger and definitely taller. Way more roomy than a Kia Soul.

That's good. The above picture is for interior space, but that thing looked tiny. Of course, I was driving the wife's Navigator at the time so I guess perspective is everything.

Another good comparison might be the Scion XB. Although, neither Kia nor Scion are four-wheel drive. Here's some specs I was just browsing.

    SCION XB
    LENGTH 168.1 IN.
    WIDTH 69.3 IN.
    HEIGHT 63.4 IN.
    WHEELBASE 102.4 IN.
    GROUND CLEARANCE 5.1 IN.

How about the Subaru xv crosstrek. I've got one at home and thought it would be a good comparison. While it doesn't have a low range it is 4 wheel drive.

    Length 175.2"
    Width 70.1"
    Height 63.6"
    Wheelbase 103.7"
    Ground Clearance 8.7"

See, now to me, that's really interesting right there! Essentially, they are about the same size and length and yet, the Renegade "appears" somewhat smaller. Again, after sitting in one, I was really surprised as just how roomy and comfortable it was inside.

so if he has no Pics i have one ... i am 183 cm in height thats about 6.0039ft and i don´t want any complaints about Belly size ... it took more than 50 years to make it that size and costs a fortune to do this, i also suffered on a sixpack for many years ... but good old bavarian Beer just helped me to form that wonderful Body ... ;):):D

i was happy to see how big this is in person. Its wider and longer than I thought it would be. The rear seat feels better than the JK one does.

Awesome post ManEater!! I especially like the comparison with the old XJ Cherokee as it really shows just how similar the new Renegade is to it. Bravo!!

Glad that you got a chance to see one in person and sit it Chris. Cindy and I were amazed at how big, roomy and comfortable it was as well. Even the rear seats were more comfortable than our JK. I think the pics that ManEater just posted up of him sitting in it helps to illustrate the point too.

Thanks for the pics, ManEater. Interesting name too, have you met ToasterJAGS yet? LOL.

In any case, are those already available for purchase where you live?
