I have an issue with my radio, 3 or 4 times a week the dang screen will go black except for the time and temp. I have to shut the Jeep off and restart it to get my screen back to normal. It finally happened when I was close to the dealership, so I bebop in and show them. Up to now they weren't interested in doing anything about it because I couldn't figure out what was triggering that symptom. The service guy comes out and looks at it and says "geez, it's not supposed to do that". I think....well no s#&$<. Anyway, they are ordering a new radio. This dealership is great about taking care of people. Anyone else have an issue like this? My wife has a Trailhawk also and hers isn't having any issues. Handful of times my screen has gone weird while on media. I just turned it to battery and back. Glad they are fixing it. I had an xD with a port installed Pioneer unit. Black screen of death twice, warranty replacement twice Sent from my Pixel using ToasterJeep mobile app

I had a very similar problem, but when my UConnect would crash the screen was completely black and the unit would reset itself. I tried to update it using a flash drive to see if it would fix the problem, but it crashed during the upload and is now frozen on the update screen. It's been like that for a week, and even when the Jeep is shut off, the screen still says it's updating... The dealership said they'd have to replace the unit, but it's on backorder and they have no idea when one will become available. Looks like I'm stuck singing to myself until then, and hoping my battery doesn't get completely drained before it gets fixed.
