Just bought a 17 Jeep Renegade Latitude, coming from 4Runners all my life it has been a big adjustment for me so far! I had 2 must haves... it had to be orange and have a sun roof. It took some doing but finally got my little traffic cone and have had it for 1 week now. So far my biggest like is the gas mileage. I'm not used to getting that much MPG! There are some things I really don't like about it but either way, thus begins my Jeep Journey.

The day I bought it: 21768005_10105490214438347_5004071292099588481_n.jpg

7 days later: Tinted, Plastidip, Matte Black Vinyl Wrap for top of doors and hood, took out and painted grill inserts hemi orange - this took some doing, angry bird headlights. Mostly all aesthetic improvements but such a great change already 22045814_10105490214533157_6957547898271056347_n.jpg

Wow hadn't thought much about the lines of the car yet but I really like what the black wrap above the doors does for the overall aesthetic. Good eye!

Thanks, some TH models have the black factory painted but mine did not. I like the matte better anyway! Looking forward to lifting it next but not sure if getting KO's will fit under stock non TH height.

I'm looking for height though :( So, I've been wondering if I can squeeze 225/65-17 in. They don't make the Ko2 in a 215/65-17.

I think maybe not. Haven't had time to do a lot of research on it.

The 255/55/18 KO2 is 29" tall, 225/65/17 is 28.5" tall, so the fit should actually be better

Removed the Grille Inserts... this was a pain to do but TOTALLY worth it. Love this look.

The roof vinyl wrap looks really good! You did it yourself? Have any tips?

I have a friend who does it professionally so we did it together. It's all about extra hands, taking your time, and getting all the bubbles out before you get to the end. they did it top to bottom and not side to side btw. Their concern was because it's a matte material, it shows fingerprints a lot. I wasn't overly concerned with that because it's not a place I will regularly touch. It looks really awesome up close, I love this addition the most right now.

One more exterior change, truck bed coated these based on reviews that the original paint fades. So ready for a lift but after seat covers I'm tapped. 20171002_182232.jpg 20171002_182306.jpg
