Unfortunately, I won't be able to get our lift installed let alone the new wheels and tires until next week at the soonest. More likely than not, later than that due to Christmas.

@wayoflife Where did you get your 1" and 1.25" spacers? I feel the BU needs to have a wider stance but is there a safety limit on how thick of a spacer to put on?

eBay can be sketchy sometimes, anything to look out for on quality?

eBay is about the only place I was able to find what I needed. If you can, I'd look for a seller that is also the manufacturer of them and if at all possible, try to find one that is located in the U.S.A. The ones I bought were made in California and out of 6061 billet aluminum.

I probably have the same 1" spacers on mine. Bought on Ebay, almost certainly made in China, but they are aluminum, right? What can go wrong? :)

BTW, you CAN get short head wheel bolts and use the 1" spacers. Also an eBay item, I only found one vendor with the right size. Cost was $39.95 for a set of 20, Seller was "otisinc".

These lug bolts are size 12mmx1.25, 22mm Shank, 60° Cone Seat, Hex 17, 41mm Total Length, Zinc Plated, SHORT HEAD

So long as it has a 5x110 bolt pattern as it should, you should be good to go.

Quick question about wheel offset numbers?
As the number increase 41mm - 42mm. the offset moves out away from axle? or the offset move in over axle?

    41mm offset VS 34mm offset?

The lower the number, the more they move outwards. A wheel with an offset of +30 would stick out further than a wheel with an offset of +40. You'd probably never do it on a Renegade but you can go into the negatives with offset as well.

I know I'm digging up something older here, but has this been confirmed? If it has, then that would mean that any 16" wheels on 2016 and up would clear the TH brakes so that a more aggressive tire could use a factory wheel.

Someone near me has a set of four 16x6.5 2010 Malibu steel wheels with the 5 on 110mm bolt pattern for $50 for the set of four. Supposedly pulled when the vehicle was six months old and kept in the garage. They're not the prettier HHR five spokes like you've got but for $50 I'd be almost willing to then go get some various sized used tires to test-fit different size combinations.

For $50, I don't think you could really lose. If it were me, I'd give it a try.

Along the same lines, I wondering if wheel spacers that change bolt pattern would be worth it... guess adapters then...

What would be the preferred bolt pattern then? 5x110 wheel options are limited and the ones out there are definitely more car vs off road. Still want to stay 16's for tires and what max of 7 inches wide... hmm

I was thinking about going down to 16"s, I didn't even consider this! My Trailhawk is still stock, would those 1.25" spacers be an option for me? Or would it cause excess stress or rubbing without additional modification? I'd like to get the K02's either way, but I've been told that the extra sidewall a 16" wheel would give me could be beneficial.
