Planning my first "real" off road adventure after getting lifted and new tires. Anybody know what to run my tire pressure at? I got stock rims, no bead lock. On all the JK forums I've been seeing about 10-12 psi in the front and 8 psi in the back. Does this make sense?

W/ KO2s I’ve done a few trips @ 19psi. I wouldn’t air down unless you have stout tires like a KO2. The d load rating is able to withstand much more abuse than a typical tire.

True but you gain grip and traction. That's why I have a lift.

Yea I usually air down my ko2s to about 19 but have only been out on the beach in pretty soft sand on Long Island

How does the Renegade do on the sand on the island? I've been on the beach a few times and I find it goes pretty good. I didn't bother with a pass this year, won't have the chance to use it that much on the beach, so I will hoof it for now when I get the chance to go fishing.

I just tried this hill by my work last night. I used to be able to get up it pre lift and ko2s. I tried last night and couldn't get up. It's like I lost power 3/4 the way up. I was very disheartened by this.

My father-in-law told me on sand he would go down to about 3-4 psi. He's running beadlocks though.

So far so good haven't gotten stuck yet and I've been in some pretty deep sand at sore thumb Ive found it handles the best in mud mode, well at least it's the most fun ... Prob dont need to air down so much but permit says should go down to half the normal psi
