I have heard from multiple reliable sources that I can change out the 215/65/17 for 225/65/17 no issues. And I have heard that adding spacers can clear rubbing and I've heard they can cause rubbing. Lift is lift and always good for tire clearance.

That is what I have been told.

    What I want:

Change to 225/65R17 add 1 to 1.5 inch spacers and from 1.5 to 4 inches of lift. I'm probably doing 1.5 to 2 inches in lift, 4 might be a bit much.

What I don't know: will the tires and spacers get along or will it cause rub. And I'd like to have an idea on this before purchasing the parts.

    2017 trailhawk.

    W E L C O M E ! ! ! to the forum.

If you are going to keep the original rims, or keep the original specs size rims, then,

225/65R17 with 1.5 inch spacers and a 2 inch lift would be a very good, usable and attractive setup.

If you change the offset of the rims, the spacers will have to be changed accordingly.

I’m sure these will be great but to just clarify for anyone looking at wheel spacers. The Rugged Ridge are different in a couple of ways. The hub-centric construction ensures the wheel is precisely centered on the hub or axle, minimizing stress on wheel studs and eliminating vibrations that are common with non-hub-centric designs. Rugged Ridge spacers are also constructed of double-anodized, extra-thick 6061-T6 aluminum. So let’s just be sure we are comparing apples to apples here when we say the Supreme Engineering are the same but just cheaper cost, because they are not. Best of luck and kind regards.

Not sure what you are trying to say? Supreme Suspension spacers are hub centric and made of T6 Aluminum.

Where was the amazon link in this thread? The ones I posted are the exact same ones you get from Amazon. I ordered mine off amazon.

my bad. There wasn’t a amazon link but a mention that the ones on amazon were half the price as the rugged ridge. I see that supreme makes equivalent spacers that are huh centric just like the rugged ridge but not at half the cost. Those are not hub centric. That’s what I was trying to point out. Was trying to be helpful and just made confusion I suppose. I’m sorry.

I also ordered mine from Amazon...I have the Day Star 1.5 lift and went with 225/65/17
I noticed the tires were partially under the bottom of the struts so I installed 1” spacers which gave me the clearance I needed

Apples to Apples for half the price.

I have used them for years without any issues.

    Supreme Engineering Technologies
    Jeep Renegade Wheel SPACERS
    5X110
    HUB Centric 65.1MM Center BORE
    1.5" INCH Thick OR 38MM |
    12X1.25 Studs.

Don't get me wrong, Rugged Ridge makes a good product. Their Wheel Spacers have a 4.3/5.0 rating.
Supreme Engineering Technologies happens to be a 4.6/5.0.
