Okay, for those of you who know me well, you know that I can't stand Facebook. I mean, I really hate everything about it and try to spend as little time on it as possible. Sure, we maintain a presence there as we do travel a lot and take photos of just about everything we do and for better or for worse, it is where we've been posting most of this stuff up. Well, there and Instagram (which is a bit better) but I digress. Anyway, Cindy and I got to talking and thought, why not just start a thread for ourselves here on ToasterJeep and basically post up all the miscellaneous pics that we would otherwise post up there. If nothing else, it would make it easier for us to keep track of all the single photos we take and really have nothing to do with anything else and with any luck, maybe a few of you will even like what you see. In a nutshell that's how this new "ToasterJeep on the GO" got started - I hope you enjoy.

Very cool, thanks for posting, were you able to get it into an rocks or coble, say 6"-8", just to see how it did crawling over them?

We spent the last 2 days traveling almost 600 miles across the Northern Nevada desert with almost 100 of them being on dirt. About 20 of those miles were on a trail that was almost more than we should have been on with this bone stock Jeep Renegade and there were times Cindy and I thought we may have bitten off more than we could chew. Crawling rocks took a bit of getting used to but did surprisingly well considering how high of a crawl ratio the Renegade has and it not having any lockers. We took a lot of pics and even a few iphone videos and I'll try to get something posted up by Sunday talking all about it. :)

Very nice, great to finally see some real user shots on rocks, not staged ones by Jeep Marketing. That is exactly the kind of ground I would love to traverse, nothing more. Was this one of the areas you said "I thought we may have bitten off more than we could chew"?

Nah, this I knew we could do. There was another section that was a steep off camber shelf road that was rutted out with rocks in it. I knew we could get down it but I wasn't sure if we could get back up it if needed. Being that we had not run the trail before, we didn't know if it got worse up ahead or worse, was impassible. If that were the case, we might have been in trouble.

What I can tell you is that not having rocker guards is a significant disadvantage to this Jeep and I so hope that Mopar releases theirs for sale or that someone comes out with something soon. I WILL BUY IT as soon as one is available.

Yeah, Chris told me about it. Could never see it from the outside due to the dark window tint.

The dealer had a couple without tint, easily seen on those models.

    Cool little egg.
