Has anyone done any towing yet? Just wondering if I could tow my two 850 pound jet skis with the trailer it would be around 2200 pounds. I know that's a couple hundred pound over the limit.
Sorry, have nothing that I'd need or want to tow with my Renegade but, I don't know how comfortable I would feel about pulling that much weight in one. Also, the short wheel base wouldn't help anything.
I guess I will have to put the top on the jeep this weekend. To hot here to go to the river with out air.
The 4x4 Renegades are allowed to tow up to 1,5 tons (3300lbs) in Germany, the front wheel drive models up to 1 ton (2200lbs). Trailers over 0,75 tons (1650lbs) have to have surge breaks mandantory here, but the Renegades (all models) are only allowed to tow 400kg (880lbs) trailers without breaks. Thorty
US model Renegade option package list. Tow hitch kit not available with My Sky Roof????? Is this just marketing or is my sky roof have some strength integrity issue that prohibit towing? I have the 1.4L T 4x4 with My Sky roof. I want to add the TH hitch from renagadeready.
