I got my 2015 Trailhawk in April, 2016. Brand new, 20 miles on it. A month into having it I started noticing an audible noise when shifting in between 4th & 5th gear. The sound varies. It ranges from a click, thunk, crunch, or loud thud when shifting. It wouldn't do it every time but it was consistent. It would stop doing it when the transmission temperature it about 135 F. I don't beat the crap out of it. I've had it on some trails but I've been easy on it. It's about to turn over 10,000 in 1 1/2 years. I don't drive it hard. I warm it up a little bit before I drive it even in the summer. In other words I haven't done anything to cause this problem. I've taken it in multiple times. I've been told it needs flash updates. They never work. Finally they agreed to change out the valve body. I had no noise for about a month then it started again. Finally about a week ago they agreed to change out the transmission. Got it back, everything was good until this morning driving to work it started making the same noises again. I'm so discouraged. Every time I take it in it's there for at least a couple days and they won't give me a loaner. This last time it was there for a week before I got it back. The performance of the vehicle doesn't seem to be hindered because of it. I love my Jeep. It just bothers me. I don't think it should be making that sound. I want to get it taken care of before the warranty expires. I'm starting to get the impression that the dealership is looking at me like I'm one of "those" types of people. Anybody have in suggestions or comments I would greatly appreciate it.
