Is there a way to check the Unconnect version on the radio. I want to see if the beats software update has been done already so I can do it myself if it hasn't. Thank you everyone in advance! Vehicle is a 2016 trailhawk if that info is necessary.
The only way I have noticed is to download the latest update to a USB drive and start the update. The system will tell you if the update is needed or not. Maybe someone else has more nfo.
Very well! I searched my vin on the unconnect update website and it says I need update 1 still Hahaha if I recall the beats update is update two? So I think I don't have it. Either way looks like update day tomorrow.
Update! It locked up mid update and has been displaying, "updating please do not remove usb device. Approx. Time 30 minutes." For about 2 hours now. Progess bar disappeared. Yay looks like I'm going to the dealership.
I can't restart the update the unconnect is still frozen on that screen and won't respond to button presses etc.
Well bad news, they are gonna replace the radio which I guess is good news. I have to wait for it to come in so for now I'm radio/backup camera/bluetoothless haha.
