Does anyone have the Valkyrie Front Skid Plate installed?
If so, can you post some pictures, and talk about the installation process?

    cheers,

I just put mine on today and it was pretty straight forward and only took about 45 mins total.
Rhino ramps work really well and are the perfect height. It's a few bolts to take off the stock one on the trailhawk then replace it with the valkyrie one. I used an igloo cooler to hold it up since I was working alone and it was almost exactly the right height although I forgot to take pictures. I think with the non trailhawk renegades it's a bit more involved with using clips but overall very easy and you only need a 13mm socket, 7/16 socket, and 4mm hex.

    Thanks for posting.
I have a 2017 Altitude and it is looking like it doesn't fit the non-trailhawk models.
Cory at Valkyrie has been very helpful and is looking into it.
We used a cooler as well to hold it up!!! hahaha

That looks awesome, and we have the same ramps!!!

What are the advantages over the stock TH plate?

thicker steel and an access panel you can remove to get to the oil filter so your not taking the whole skid plate off for an oil change

The Valkyrie skid plate does not need to be removed to change the oil or oil filter. I am not sure which skid plate is stronger.

I had to send it back as it did not fit a non-TH model.
However, Cory, at Valkyrie (the owner), has been very helpful and communicative.
I took some pictures and measurements for him, and he is currently getting non-TH Renegade in the shop this week to do some testing.
And once they are done, hopefully I can get one to put on.

It seems that non-TH Renegades, with the crash/support beams, have pushed where the rear end of where the skid plate attaches back 1.5" and so the skid plate is too short and since the TH and the non-TH models have different bumpers, the holes on the non-TH models don't align with the holes on the skid plate.

But, like I said, Valkyrie has been very communicative and have been updating me regularly. It is a great company, ran by a great guy, with great customer service/support.

I will keep you posted on what I find out and when I install the skid plate.

    Cheers

    ***Update***
Valkyrie has made a bracket/adapter to fit non-TH Renegade models.
I have received my new skid plate with the adapter and will be installing it this weekend.
I will take some pictures, and write up how it went.
    Hoping this one fits!!

Did you get the front skid installed with the adapter? How is the fit?

Yep, sorry for the late reply.
It fit perfectly. The installation was pretty easy. I would recommend a second pair of hands to help hold it up as you bolt in place. The adapter is easy to install and you can see where it goes, and the actual plate fits perfectly after that.
