Does anyone have any experience with the Valkyrie Polo Ladder?

I am curious what people's thoughts are. Does it work well? Is it slippery when wet? Does it whistle at high speeds (freeway driving to a trail)? Is it easy to mount and take off?

I have a cargo basket and am thinking of getting a cargo top tent as well (both would not be on the same time). But, would like to know if people like this product, or is mainly used for looks.

I appreciate any feedback y'all may have

    Go find some rugged trails!

I really like mine and my daughter loves climbing up and down it each time she gets in or out of the back. It was super easy to install, supports me at 6'2" and 260 lbs. I did not notice any increase in noise compared to what I was already getting with my crossbars and basket.

The ladder comes with a textured powder coating and the steps have little raised pieces at the front of each step to hook into your shoes so traction should not be a problem.

I see no reason to really take it off, it would require you to remove that piece of the fender trim each time, which means you may break a clip or wear out the adhesive strip near the rear door.

If you are already having to climb up on the tire or open the door to get higher to access the top it is a very functional accessory. IMO it looks great as well and was one of the first things I "had" to have when I started getting stuff for my Renegade.

That looks awesome, and your Renny is the same color as mine. Looks great.
    How was the installation process?

    Thanks! Jetset Blue Elite!

Install is super easy, shouldn't take more than 45 minutes. It comes with the exact amount of clips you need to replace all of them to put the fender back on. Here is a really good video on how to install it. The dremelling to fit around the lower brace was the only part I was really worried about and even that was super easy.
