So... Awhile back I noticed some water behind the passenger seat in my '16 Latitude. After eliminating rain vs. open window, floor vs. toddler, I decided it must be a bad door seal, or maybe the roof rack seals leaking all the way down into the passenger compartment. Well... After almost a year of observation, I found it. In the NY metro area the past couple of days, it's been hot (zero precipitation or wet roads while I been out there). Low and behold when I got home the other night, the floor was wet. So... What could put water in the car out of thin air? The air conditioner evaporator! I found some good youtube vids for locating the drain line ( ). Anyway... The hose clamp on mine wasn't fastened (error mio). Grabbed an old school hose clamp from the junk drawer, tossed it in there and buttoned it up. Problem solved!
