New Renegade Limited 2.0 Diesel 4x4 AT9Low in Mojave Sand checking in.
Picked it up at the dealer last friday and drove it home 600km/400 miles. We had 40*C/104*F, but it was a pleasure to do the 8h-drive home (got stuck in friday traffic at several locations).
After the first week I'm now at 1200km/800mls and every single one was fun :)

    Here are some pics:

Its not my first Jeep as I own a 2013 Wrangler Moab also (and 2 more Wranglers since 2003), but I really liked the Renegade from the first time I've seen it (in german language cars are male or neutral, so we say "he" or "it", but e.g. motorbikes are female)
I'm going to leave the Renny mostly stock as the JK is already heavily modified (for german conditions, not for you JK-guys :) ), but it is a big fun to drive the Renegade as my DD

    Waving back to you.
What a great first drive to make covering 400 miles :)

Absolutely love the mojave sand Renegade

And the tinted glass roof sets it off.
Sounds like your having fun straight away.

    Happy trails
    Regards Mick

Hi Thorty! Great looking Renegade. Can I ask, are your projector headlights also HID or are they halogen?

Hey Rick, the projectors are HIDs. They come with 25Watt balasts, so their light output is somewhat lower then on older HID systems (but still plenty of light!!). They come without automatic leveling systems or headlight washers (both are mandantory on 35W HIDs in Europe), so you can find them mainly on the lower end models (Renegade, Mini Cooper, VW Beetle, Audi A1...)
