The 1.25" spacers should be okay with the 1.5" Daystar lift. As for the alignment, just make sure the shop doing it knows that there are 2 different places to adjust to get the alignment correct. Other than that, you should be good to go!

Arhshelby, would you happen to have your alignment shops contact info? I'm hoping to get someone that has completed a successful alignment to speak the same language as my local shop to resolve my alignment issues, thnx!

My Chrysler dealership did the install and alignment. It's Williamsburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Virginia. They've installed the Daystar kit also on many of their Renegades pre-sale too, so they knew what they were doing.

Mind if I ask how much they set you back? Considering installing myself but a shop who has done it before and can get the alignment right could be worth the drive/cost.

Well, glad they worked out for you, but they wouldn't give me any info...just told me to take it to my local dealer (which where I purchased from doesn't do alignment) + I've already paid the current alignment shop via the 4X4 place I went through, so I want them to get it corrected.

Nonetheless, thank you for the info!

The Lift kit is 25 mm and the springs are another 25 mm for a total of 50 mm. An inch is 25.4 mm. That means the total will be just under 2 inches. I don't think that would be too much of a problem. Sounds like a good combo.

If it's a trailhawk (already having stiffer springs) it would be closer to 1 1/4" lift. Not worth the cost of the springs for a 1/4" and stiffer ride.

So far I'm loving the lift. It rides like stock and have had no issues with it, even on a 1000 mile trip from Virginia to Florida.

If you don't mind me asking how much did they charge $$ for the lift kit and alignment? Am wondering if it's worth traveling across state to have them do it. The dealer here hasn't done any mods to Renegades.

If i remember right, they did the install, mounted the tires, installed the wheel spacers, and did the alignment for around $750. But, I did get some special treatment because I'm a VIP customer and have bought 6 cars from them and know the sales managers very well. They knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Best thing to do would to call and get a quote and tell them that you're a friend of mine (Andrew Holcombe) and I refered you to have the same lift done that I had.
