Hey guys, I finally got my G-Force lift, Renegade Ready wheel spacers and 225/65r17 KO2s installed. Overall I'm loving the way it looks and rides. No rubbing and just a low hum at highway speeds. Let me know if you have any questions.

Looks good... did you do the pinch weld mod?

Nope, no pinch weld mod. It comes close to rubbing, but it doesn't, no modding needed. Any larger on the tires and there would be an issue.

Was the lift and spacers needed? I've been reading that the 225.65.17 KO2s don't rub (on trailhawks) with stock wheels.

They will fit without the lift if you dont use spacers, but if you do tires and 1" spacers, I've read that they will rub slightly. The lift will take care of that.

How's the fuel economy post-lift compared to before?

Any changes I make have to be mindful of that.

I've only noticed about a 1mpg loss in mpg, if that.

Is the mpg drop calculating mileage based on the new tire size or based on the fuel indicator?

i think the mpg loss is due to the tires being bigger. Most people say there is no loss from the lift itself.

Agree there will definitely be loss of MPG with the tires. I have personally seen ~1 mpg loss due to just the lift itself though, as I don't have tires ordered for mine yet.

I would think it would have to do with increased turbulence from the vehicle being more "in the wind" due to the newly added height, especially on the highway.

I just made a 1000 mile trip to Florida from Virginia yesterday. The setup did really well and I averaged about 24 mpg compared to the 26 mpg I normally get. I was going about 70mph the whole way though and the transmission seemed like it was always trying to figure out what gear it wanted to be in, between 7th, 8th, and 9th. Two things I really did learn on the drive, with my setup, the TH is pretty damn slow to get to speed, like real slow. Secondly, the fuel tank is SUPER small! I was filling up at 1/4 tank left and my wifes Grand Cherokee still had 3/4 tank left. It was a good drive though and i was comfortable and had no mechanical issues.

    image.png G-Force 2 1/2" lift available now.
I think it's pushing past the limits of the renegade's suspension and drive train ... but there it is

Seems to me 2.2" would be overall for a latitude. That would be 1.4" on a trailhawk.

Interesting, that's the G-Force lift kit as well as the Eibach lift springs. I wouldn't install both on the same car though personally.

Awesome! Sorry, I'm new...just seeing this.
Taking mine into the shop this evening for Daystar 1.5", *wheel spacers, and same tired as you.

Shop ordered 1.25" spacers...I ordered the RR 1" spacers for back up.

What you think about the 1.25" spacer? I'll be running factory 17" TH wheels.

Also, any issues with alignment? From what I gather, that seems to have been an earlier issue that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore.
