So after some research, it looks like we may not be able to fit 16" aluminum wheels on a TH with the stock calipers. From what I have read, the 16" steel wheel BARELY clear as it is and the aluminum rims most likely have a tad thicker lip on them to keep the strength up so they will not clear the brakes.

Anybody have a pic or know of anyone that is running aluminum 16s on a TH? That is what im really aiming to do but it isn't looking promising, regardless of offset/spacing, etc. Also not willing to grind the calipers.

Check out this post. They are 16" Mobo wheels. I think he is also using 1" spacers.

Oh yea, totally forgot about Ender. I've read his build and it looks great, just forgot his wheels were aluminum.

I was just turned off by reading WayaLife's post about aluminum wheels not fitting. If I have a set of wheels drilled to my bolt pattern I'll be screwed if they don't fit over the brakes. Big decisions...

Discount tires told me that if they didn't fit I'd get my money back since their system shows them as fitting. I'm guessing their system showed for the non-TH though, since I did need spacers.

Yea that's what I'm afraid of, getting the offset of the wheel right the first time.

Do you know the offset of those wheels Ender? Im curious what the total offset is with your 1" spacers.
