Since my dealer failed to show me ANYTHING about the operation of my new Renegade Latitude, 6-speed stick with U-connect 5, I am trying to learn how things work on my own. I do not see anything in the owner's book describing how to turn on the radio when parked with the key off or out. Could someone please explain this process? Thanks Jimbo
On my auto with push button start, it's push button, WITHOUT foot on brake. Not sure on your 6 speed.
Try just pushing the power button, it is not in the manuals. Most salesmen don't have a clue about most cars they sell. The U-connect 5 can do quite a lot. On mine you can press either the start button without brake, or the power button on system. I second that they don't know anything, my salesperson tried telling me that the renegade only came in fwd and I felt like I was teaching him how to sell. Lucky me I do research and go in knowing what I'm getting.
