If this redundant, I apologize. I purchased the Rugged Ridge 1.25 hubcentric wheel spacers. It seems any forum out there has a 50/50 consensus about them. I know they put more stress on the wheel bearings by increasing the offset and thus will wear them out quicker but if checked with every tire rotation would they be considered "unsafe?"

I've been reading about spacers being safe or not for some time and I came to the conclusion that it is safe once it's hub centric and made of good quality aluminum.. I'm about to buy the 1.25" as well and the one thing every text I read about spacers says is: check your bolts regularly and it should be fine

They are fine. Just follow instructions. No different then checking OEM lugbolts [emoji106]

Assorted pics on the new Deserthawk with Rugged Ridge 1.25 Billet Spacers. Super easy install, great...GREAT look! Ordered regular capped lugnuts. They normally come with open ended lugnuts.

1.25 spacers. Zero rubbing, no pinch weld mod, stock tires.

Spacer sitting on rear rotor. Sanded rotor, sprayed with electric cleaner. Blew out bolt holes and added a dab of 271 Loctite to the bolts securing the spacer.

Regarding safety, they are torqued to 100-110ft/lbs. I should have the closed lugnuts in shortly. I'll recheck torque and let you know if anything changed.
