Took my 2015 trailhawk in for its first service. Found out it through a thermostat code and they replace it. and it required 10 software updates. Never had a vehicle made before 2000s find it really weird how many updates it needed. Anyone else have this happen?

I have 27000 miles on my 2015 t/h it's been in for routine service 3 times now and it seems like every time I get it back it has a bunch of software updates done to it and just a few days ago I updated the uconnect software

Can you update the software yourself or do you have to take it to the dealer? I am having a trouble with my uconnect getting my text messages

    Hi Brian Burrus,

You can enter your VIN here to see if there are any software updates available for your Uconnect system: https://www.driveuconnect.com/software-update/. You can either install them yourself or visit your local dealership for assistance. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

    Hi Brian Burrus,

Sorry to hear about that! I would recommend visiting your local dealership to have the update performed. They would be best able to further assist you!

After trial and error I found that formatting to FAT32 was the only way mine would work
