never had any experience with the automatic tire deflators but i need too. because its a pain in the ass the other way. anyone with experience looking to take my tires from 38 psi to 29-30 psi with ease. and i bought a slime air pump. its a little girl. are they all little girls unless you drop big bucks?
Here is a link to a fishing site that I frequent. This has some opinions on various deflators and mentions a few pumps also. Hope this helps. I don't have any experience with the deflators but it is something that I need to think about this fall when the local beaches open to driving. http://www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/topic/656701-recommendations-for-tire-deflators/
I've used a bleeder valve similar to this one with much success: #1 4X4 EZ tire Deflator for Large offroad tires https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NQGCDC8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i7nOxb83V87V4 I have used a small Master Flow air compressor for years. It finally needs some hose repair work.
Let me know what you figure out. I got a trip planned to the beach coming up at the end of the month and I need to get things in order.
Viair compressors are pretty good ones (get the battery connecting ones) but I've had this one by Master Flow for about 7yrs now. MasterFlow MF-1050 Air Compressor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000L9AD2U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dlXOxb2QE60JY Took maybe 2-3 minutes to air up each tire but those were 33" muds. Then of course if you want to spend the loot you could always get an ARB compressor. Many in my offroad group have them. Great compressors but I wasn't willing to make the investment.
Powerful no, Small compact and efficient Yes! If your out every weekend Off Roading and airing up/down get something better as other has suggested. But if just need on occasion, its great little unit for the price. If you have other craftsman tools that use the same battery pack even better. But if you were serious off roading you would have a JK with on-board air! not a Renegade cordless infaltor.
I will in a few years. Had to get my wife on board with off roading. Building that together. Then i should be a kitchen manager in a few years and i can afford the big boy. As for now. I air down a few times a month. Not a fan of spending 45 minutes to air up again. Feel me?
I get it got to crawl before you can walk.....wait, crawling is the goal..... i mean you can't run before you walk.
