Been waiting a while and finally put new tires on the Renegade. So excited to test them out on some fun trails and spots here in Arizona. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No sir. Just the stock trailhawk model with BFGOODRICH KO2 tires. 225/65/R17 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I actually just got home with them. Didn't hear any issues or see any but I'll double check. Only went with these based on several other posts about these specific brand and size on stock trailhawks with no lift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Definitely keep me posted. I've been dying to get these but unwilling to lift. How much were they? Sent from my SM-G930V using ToasterJeep mobile app
Definitely. I'm the same way. Heard to many issues with the lifts because they aren't true lifts just spacers basically and what not so I'm probably gonna leave mine stock too. I'll go outside in a bit and take some more photos of the wheel well and of the wheels straight and turned to both sides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Appreciate it. Yeah I heard some negative stuff about Daystar. ATP in the other hand have made improvement based on Daystar kit I think. Sent from my SM-G930V using ToasterJeep mobile app
Sorry for the late reply. Here's the wheel straight and turned to each side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice! I'm sold. Definitely gotta get these. How much were they Sent from my SM-G930V using ToasterJeep mobile app
I got 5 cause I have a full size spare and warranties on all 5 in case something happens so I spent little over $1300 total. All depends on the shop you go to and if you get the warranties and such. I also had them take off the tire disposal fees cause I kept my old one (they were only a year old). So I'd say anywhere from $1000 to $1300. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Word. Sounds good. Thanks man. Hopefully you did an alignment too Sent from my SM-G930V using ToasterJeep mobile app
They checked when they installed the tires and with the place I go to now that I got tires from them I get free air checks and alignment checks and free tire rotations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MANY stock THs and even 2wd latitudes have done these tires.. a simple search will yield that.. No rubbing until you go bigger/space out. I did pinch weld treatment so I'm prepared when I lift/go bigger wheel/tire setup. A lift is a lift, you are raising the center of gravity up along side of the ride height. A spacer is like a taller strut/coil and shock/coil setup. The limit on a unibody/4 wheel independent SUV is the drive lines, just like in live axle worlds, you must alleviate the driveline to keep things from binding up. Dropping sub frames on IFS/IRS and relieving steering angles can only go so far. Look up a KL and see how expensive it can get..
I know this might be a bit stupid to ask. Would I be able to put spacers on this setup for the looks? Will I be losing anything? Sent from my SM-G930V using ToasterJeep mobile app
I've seen 1.25" spacers fit ok with 225/65/17 KO2s. I believe there's a small amt of rub at the pinch weld off-roading but am not too keen on my memory atm.. I personally don't like spacers so I've only seen others use them.
