    Hey Guys

I installed my DV+ this morning, made sure to plug the computer back in before completing installation and I got a P0033 error code upon starting up the vehicle. Any insight? I double checked to make sure I plugged back in properly and everything seems secure and tight. I'd be curious to know if this has happened to any of you guys. All the best!

I followed the install step by step but did not oil the piston. My service light actually went off after 3-4 starts of the ignition and hasnt gone back on since. Fingers crossed!

I also got a cod after the installation P2261 in about 9 miles of drive.
I 've taken out the main (fat)spring and still after 28miles CEL code reapered..
I m out of options except to put back the crappie stock.
So I did reinstall the stock back and I'm now at almost 300miles with no CEL..bummer
Im I the only with 1.4L engine to have this issue..? IwonderECUUltrasensitive?
Another thing I saw on the Torque app and Felt is that while the cel on the boos will run normal only for about 5 min of drive after that it was dropping to vacuum 19 or 20 nothing higher, now it's consistent to about 7psi..any thoughts would be very much appreciated .

The ecm is extremely sensitive with the 1.4T, so not a huge shock. It's possible you received a defective unit, but aside from that all i can say is try another one (warranty the one you bought) and make sure to use both the small and large springs as well as put a small bit of oil on the piston to lube it up.

I got 20K+ miles on my GFB DV+ with no CEL's. This is with a custom intake and the Madness MAXpower ecm

Did the ECU fully reset before you plugged everything back in? Also, these CANbus systems upon getting power again from the battery send out pings as a voltage check on everything. So if you powered the ECU before you completed installation, it may have seen the diverter valve as "unplugged" and freaked out.

I also have to ask, because I almost made this mistake: You reused the OEM yellow rubber O-ring right? I was about to tighten everything down and noticed I missed that.

@Robot, yes before I installed it I had the negative pulled out so no power was on.
I also made sure I had that yellow rubber gasket on it, and made sure I plugged the power connection too, did everything very slow by the book/videos the only option have left is that it could be a defective DV
However the customer service at Madness ,at the end of all tests said that at this point I d need a professional shop to assist me,and I 've asked if he could recommend one in my area (chicagoland) but they don't know any shop there so..

Make sure the sensor is fully plugged in, that clip can be deceiving. Ive also seen a video of a boost leak through the plug port.
