My wife and I just bought our Renegade about a month and a half ago. It's a Dawn of Justice Edition in Granite Crystal and we love it! I am in the process, however, of searching for an all-terrain tire to replace the Kuhmo Crugens it came with as we do get some snow here and the Crugens aren't quite up to the task of going off road. We also plan on doing the Daystar lift in conjunction with new tires. Not surprisingly, my wife's coworkers call our new Renegade the "Batmobile", lol. Looking forward to reading lots of posts!

My wife and I just picked up our new Jeep. We went with a Black, 6 speed manual, 4x4, 75th Anniversary.
We are thinking about the same set up with the Daystar 1.5 lift and new tires. I have been researching tires since we got the jeep home. It is tough to find an 18 inch tire with real off-road capabilities that will fit with the 1.5 lift. IMG_3794.JPG IMG_3790.JPG IMG_3788.JPG IMG_3792.JPG

I, too, have been looking at tires like mad. I would like to retain the stock rims but not sure if that will be possible. I see that the General Grabber AT2 comes in a 255/55/r18 size but I don't know if the stock 18x7 rim can handle that tire safely or if there would be some serious rubbing. I needs to do more research.
