Been looking at these things since they first were rumored to exist. The packaging, the features, the engineering behind it's capabilities are value rich considering the price of admission at each trim level, so much so that the lovely and talented Mrs. and I decided to get one.

We got an orange Latitude with ski grey interior, 2.4L and heated seats. The thing is just a blast to drive. Haven't pushed too hard on it with only 100 miles on it, but it drives great, steers quick, ride quality is pretty good considering all that it was designed to do.

As it will be the Mrs. main transport the mods will be limited. We do plan to do more with it than just have a pavement princess, but we got it to be both escape vehicle and grocery getter. The first mod will be the 235/60-17 Cooper A/T3's. Have them on my truck and they are truly a great tire. Rain, snow, ice, no problem. Then the Renegade Ready tow hitch kit. Followed by the G-Force 1" lift.

The first pro = The intermittent rain sensitive wipers vary wiping speed with the amount of rain ... too cool.
First con = The stock wiper blades are from hunger. In a light rain it's just skipping, skittering, screeching.

So, to make a short story boring, glad to have a great vehicle and a forum to learn from and share with.
