I put a hitch under the frame, have 10 inchs of clearance from tgr ground, I use a hitch basket when I pickup lawn and garden supplies, real hand, keeps the dirt out of the Jeep. Will get a bag if I need to travel a distance, with the basket lower than the bumper I do not have any tail light cover issues or opening the hatch either.
WE have the tow pkg option so it's part of the bumper. Probably not much difference bumper or under bumper setup so sounds like it may all still be good either way. Thanks!
