Oh, how you've got to love the English! I just read the following review that Andrew English wrote for The Telegraph and was amused at how much time he spent educating people on the history of the Jerrycan and it's Nazi German roots (hence, where the term "Jerry" came from) if only to poke fun at the American designers for liberally using the iconic "X" that was stamped into them as primary design element on the Jeep Renegade. Of course, for those of you who aren't following me on this, the Renegade's design is supposed to be influenced by the Willys Jeep that helped to conquer the Germans in WWII and one of it's primary design elements that is repeated over and over again was actually something that the Germans came up with - Get it?

Of course, now I've followed into his trap and have spent more time on what he was saying than talking about his otherwise insightful review that you can read below. From it, I am even more disappointed that the Multijet II diesel will not be an option here in the U.S. especially being that it gets really good MPG and the gas alternatives seem to be a bit under powered. Anyway, check it out.
