I just ordered a set of BF Goodrich AT KO2 in 225 65 17. I'll post pics when they get in. I've read many reviews from those who say that they will fit with no lift and no spacers. I don't plan on using a lift or spacers right now, so hopefully they will fit with no rubbing. shaggy
Just talked to a Michelin rep, said theres about 1600 backordered..by about November 1st or 2nd week they should start hitting retailers. There is a total of 5k being made on this next run..
That's good news for a lot of folks then. I am really pleased with the looks and ride of these BFG KO2's. Jeep should put these on the Trailhawk from the factory.

changing tires does not affect the speedometer at all beacause renegades have the speed sensor inside the abs sistem (i don't know how it works but this was told me from the guys who installed my tires, 225 65 17) ... after replacing tires i tried to compare the spedometer with a gps and it is correct...2/3 kmh less than the spedometer
You my friend were lied to, that is most definitely not true. Even if the speed sensors are incorporated into the abs wheel speed sensors. Putting a different size tire on the vehicle will still change the amount of times that sensor will rotate in a mile. Which will create a variation between what your speedometer reads and the the actual speed of the vehicle. The tire size you changed to will be so close most people would not notice. but your speedo will be off between 1-3mph depending on the speed your traveling.
i asked the same question and they told me that it calibrate itself no matter what size you put on...i'm not a mechanic i do not know how it works of course.. but i tried with gps at 50 and 100 kmh on straight road using cruisecontrol and it is always 2 kmh under the speedo like it was before changing tires
do a before and after using a handheld GPS unit as the control standard. One set of tires X speed on the speedo, read the GPS speed. Change tires, go X speed and compare the spedo to GPS.... That'll settle the debate. Of course you'll have to provide photos and preferably video as proof of your experiment and end results ;-)
i can't do a before because i sold the stock tires..but i can do an after... someone who have bigger tires can do it too in order to compare the speeds.. maybe, if you guys are interested, i can open a new thread were we all share our gps tests in order to understand if it is true or not
I can test the before and after. Should have my 225/65/r17 k02 by the 27th. Or at least that's what 4wheel parts is telling me now ...
