Just installed my intake, noticeable HP boost, sound pretty badass too for a toaster. [emoji12] IMG_0532.JPG

I'm no attorney, but if it were labeled as "mandrel bent pipe with cellulose analog media" and maybe labeled as "for cosmetic purposes only", it'd be totally reasonable for a person to assume it has nothing to do with the combustion control / emissions system... [emoji848]

This looks really nice. However, noticing the dirt and mud in the engine compartment, does the filter get dirty quickly or is it still pretty well protected from dirt and debris?

i also hooked up for my 1.4..T a custom made intake.
I get much better torque and rpm opens little more, with better pulls. Well worth it. Initially went to autozone and got all the pieces some hoses and did the tests. No CEL! I need it a piece with house exits i couldn't find, so I checked ebay, found a universal 25$kit including filter cone, ended up with better setup and returned almost all back to autozone kepy a 60and a90 degree elbows a hydrashield and couple houses
