LOL!! You have got to be kidding me. All this over a Forward Collision Warning sensor? How lame is that! Guess I just found another reason why I'm glad I got a Trailhawk.

Trailhawk is a no brainer. Barely had enough money for the sport tho. Got a latitude due to dealer error

I would have to think there's got to be some way to waterproof the FCW.

Sorry, don't have a clue on a Sport, Latitude or Limited as I don't have one. If I could guess, it's in the lower portion of your front bumper. I believe the Cherokees have it there too.

So less of an issue if no Forward Collision Warning on the vehicle? Good deal for me.

I can't see how that would be the case if the Trailhawks are rated to ford 19" of water. The highest lug nut is well below that. I'm not even sure why it couldn't go deeper than that unless the differential doesn't have a breather hose or something like that.

Honestly, I don't know for sure but it would make sense that not all of them have it.

Ah, got it. Yeah, depending on the time of year, the water crossings can be deep enough to be concerning for something like a Renegade.
