For those of you who haven't seen it, there was a media event in Rio de Janeiro highlighting the new Jeep Renegade and for the event, Mopar brought out 3 modified rigs to show off. Here's an article that was published on FCA's Objects in the Mirror site about them.

Mopar-modified Jeep Renegade trio heats up Rio
People typically dress down when enjoying the sun-soaked beaches of Rio de Janeiro. The Mopar brand created just as much sizzle recently by “dressing up.”

A trio of all-new Jeep Renegades, upgraded with Mopar parts and accessories, grabbed headlines at a media event in the “Marvelous City.”

The Mopar-modified SUVs — the Longitude “City,” Trailhawk “Camp” and Off-Road Concept — demonstrated the many faces of the all-new, versatile Jeep Renegade, which made its Latin American debut at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in October. The imaginative Mopar creations are homegrown: the Renegade is produced at a state-of-the-art plant in Pernambuco, located in northeast Brazil.

The Renegade Longitude “City” highlights the wide-ranging capabilities of the Jeep brand’s all-new small SUV, combining a compact size perfect for navigating narrow urban roads with custom Mopar upgrades to fit active lifestyles that lead to the beach and beyond. The white exterior of the “City” is accented with a red spoiler, as well as red touches on the mirror caps and longitudinal roof beams. Red rings are a focus on the front grille, and a single spoke of the cream-white alloy wheels is embellished in red.

A roof bicycle carrier and surf board belt equip the “City” for both waves and trails alike. Up front, the hood is highlighted with a custom Mopar decal — destination: Rio. The interior features upgrades including a portable refrigerator, door sill guards and elastic storage passenger seat.

The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk “Camp” augments the model’s best-in-class Trail Rated 4×4 capability with Mopar parts and accessories to make a day at the beach last well into the night. The grille rings, mirror caps, wheel wells and more are copper colored, providing a distinct contrast with the green exterior, which is further decorated with unique tread mark graphics on the hood and body sides.

A roof basket, molded cargo area tray, cargo tote and cargo net offer generous capacity to haul extended-stay beach gear, including a camping tent, umbrella, beach chair, portable barbecue grill and refrigerator, camping light and cups and cutlery bag. A canine seat cover allows four-footed friends to (cleanly) join the fun.

Trimmed in light camouflage graphics, the Jeep Renegade Off-Road Concept was created to calmly handle whatever the trail can dish out. Riding on rugged off-road tires and wheels, the Off-Road Concept is also augmented to triumph over tough terrain with a performance suspension, performance exhaust and a special “Hi-Lift.” An off-road roof basket provides storage for critical supplies, including emergency fuel and water tanks, a spare tire and 4WD recovery device. Front and wear winches offer ultimate towing capacity and fog lamps and side steps also ramp up off-road capability.

Here are some photos of the three Jeep Renegade concepts taken during the media event.
